Otherwise known as the ‘Cobra Lily’, the hooded spathe of this Arisaema curl back on themselves and reveal a spiked tongue or Spadix looking exactly like a cobra ready to strike.

This species of Arisaema is heavily veined with incredible burgundy and green markings. Arisaema Griffithii makes a dramatic addition to a cool, shady position in moist, hummus-rich soil. A truly dramatic Aroid and a must for the collector.
